Vietnamese carrier Vietjet has finalized a strategic commercial contract with Airbus for 20 A330-900 wide-body aircraft. This procurement supports the airline's long-term fleet expansion, strengthening direct intercontinental passenger and belly-cargo routes between Southeast Asia and European destinations.

Equipped with Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines, the A330neo fleet delivers enhanced fuel efficiency and operational range. The new aircraft will serve high-density international corridors, significantly scaling trade capacity and tourism connections between France and Vietnam.
Commitment to Sustainable Fleet Operations
The aircraft architecture is fully compatible with up to 50% Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) blends. This acquisition aligns with Vietjetās environmental roadmap, lowering emissions per seat-kilometer while upgrading international flight operations.
